Dr. Hamsa Thota, an alumnus from the M.Sc. Food Technology batch (1968 -70) visited CFTRI on 12th January 2010. Prior to starting his own firm, Dr. Hamsa occupied a senior executive position in the US Food Industry. He was welcomed to the institute by the Chief Patron of the CFTRI Alumni Association and Director, CFTRI, Dr. V. Prakash. Some of the alumni members also met him on the occasion. Many nostalgic moments and pleasant memories were exchanged during the meeting. Discussions were held on networking and reaching out to society through global interfacing.
