Centre of Excellence on Millets

Centre of Excellence on Millets is a state-of-the-art facility created to benefit farmers and consumers by strengthening the production of millets. This nutritious and sustainable grain is gaining global recognition, and with support from the State Government, the center is designed to bolster India's role in the global millet market.

The center will serve as a hub for research, development, and entrepreneurship. It's equipped with advanced technology and will provide expert support to help startups and small businesses create innovative millet-based products. The goal is to improve processing techniques and add value to millet products, making them more popular and accessible to a wider market.

By bringing together entrepreneurs, researchers, and industry experts, the center aims to drive advancements in millet technology and commercialization. This initiative supports India's commitment to food security and sustainable agriculture while also helping to revive traditional grains and support the farmers who grow them. The center is poised to strengthen India's role as a global leader in millet production and innovation, paving the way for a "millet revolution."
