A process for the preparation of water-soluble amino acid conjugates of curcumin

A process for the preparation of water-soluble amino acid conjugate of curcumin: Amino-acid conjugates of curcumin are prepared by the process of present invention by synthetic methodology that envisaged facile reaction of the N-protected (t-BOC) amino acids with curcumin and included an improved accelerated protocol for the de-protection of f-BOC group to afford the formation of amino-acid conjugates of curcumin. The yield of amino-acid conjugates of curcumin as obtained by present method is significantly high.
